Your first hive, with a whole community behind you!
Calm+Confidence and the new owners of Bemis Honey Bee Farm have teamed up to make getting started in beekeeping simpler. Purchase your 1-year New Hive Host Package through C+C or Bemis and receive hive equipment, tools, bees, and a local mentor to help you grow your confidence through every season!
Your package includes:
- A 10-frame hive setup: one deep and three medium hive boxes, frames and foundation, screened bottom board with entrance reducer, ventilated inner cover, and telescoping outer cover
- Beekeeping tools: smoker, straw hat and veil, J-hook hive tool, bee brush, queen cage, queen clip, and uncapping fork
- Bees to get your neighborhood hive buzzing
- One full year of local mentoring
Your mentor will help you choose a suitable hive location, and your bees will arrive by the end of May. Your full year of mentoring begins when the bees arrive, with monthly visits, additional support during the busy spring season, and replacement bees or queens as needed under our hive-care agreement. Harvested honey is shared 50/50 with C+C, with the option to purchase our half.
Reserve your 2027 package for $1,299 when you enroll by December 31, 2026—an early sign-up savings off the $1,400 regular price.
