Calm+Confidence prides itself in the natural, raw honey we produce here in Little Rock. While our prices are slightly higher than competitors, we think the $$ leads to meaningful contributions throughout the community.
We teach local citizens and schools how to manage honeybee hives on their property, start their own small businesses, and engage the public in sustainable practices benefiting all pollinators.
Other “normal” honey is produced by placing large numbers of hives on farmland and moving them on large trucks based on blooming periods of specific plants. We maintain single-hive sites reducing the spread of parasites among hives and promoting more diverse diets for our bees as they have the whole city to explore and pollinate.
