Bee S’cool: 10-Week Beekeeping Workshop Series

Bee S’cool is a hands-on workshop series for beginning beekeepers, STEM-minded students, and curious community members ages 13 and older. Workshops take place in two local community gardens, where participants will practice real beekeeping skills alongside learners of different ages and experience levels.
Throughout the series, participants can earn 10 skill badges:

Education
Attend Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings, or a combination of both based on your availability. Participants may also work toward an optional Beginning Beekeeper Certificate.
Series Dates: September 3-November 14
Thursdays: 5-7 PM
Saturdays: 10 AM-Noon
Locations: Oak Forest Community Garden in LR and Vestal Park in NLR
Kick-Off Event: Saturday, August 29 at the Main Library
Registration: $225 per participant ($75/mon)
Workshop materials and hands-on activities are included. No previous beekeeping experience is required.
